Who is that new guy and what is his past with Jess/Tess. Did he sleep with Tess and was he the one who gave her Hep C and drugs? Is it Jarrod or Jarrat or what? Thanks!

Jared was mixed up with Tess. They didn't say yet exactly how, but she's responsible for him going to jail. While he was in jail, he read the book all about Asa and the Buchanans. Now that he's out of jail, I think he wants revenge but I doubt if he knows about the Tess/Jess thing. We should know soon. It's unfolding.

Everyone else has pretty much answered this but he did originally have his eyes set on Asa but after he died he moved on to Natalie and Jessica. He knows Jessica and Jessica clearly knows him but I am not sure if she remembers him from when she was Tess or maybe it is a secret from Jessica's past. I think there was a small gap of when Erin Torpey left and Bree Willamson came in so maybe she knew him between that gap. It will most likely be Tess

Jared is someone was Jessica's past when she was Tess. We do not know yet exactly what the deal is wether, tess stole from him or left him for Nash.

According to Soap Opera Digest his name is spelled "Jared". They really haven't given much detail as to what his history with Tess is. Apparently she is the reason he went to jail but we don't know what for. I think its all supposed to come out in the next few weeks

from what i've read, something that happened between him and jess/tess in NY got him arrested and sent to jail. as for him being the one that infected her with Hep C, that's my theory as well.
