depends if its a girl or a boy id say...if its a girl, shes gonna get knocked around like a 3 yr old boy. boys on the other hand can take a few punches....if not then why the hell is he going to this?.....but why would you anyway???? you just dont...oh boy...another miss murder fan?

You don't have to buy General Admission tickets. You can buy seats and there wouldn't be any moshing. Unless the venue doesn't have seats. Other than that, it may not be a good idea to take the ten year old. If there's a lot of moshing they could really get hurt. Although AFI really rocks.

Get there early and find a good spot toward the back, out of the crowd.
Or are they playing Arenas now? I haven't seen AFI since 2000, and they were an opening act for Rancid.

You don't. Trust me, when someone is that young, it's way to much of a hastle. My buddy and I have been a an Atreyu concert and taken his 11 year old brother. It was nothing but a hastle with the crowd. It's not worth the trouble.
Unfortunitely just tell them, "Maybe when you're older."

I doubt a 10 year old would, or even should be into AFI. just don't take em till their older.

Well, the ten year old doesn't have to get in the pit. He/she can watch from the back, up front, or the balcony, if the venue has one.

I wouldn't do it, I wanted to take a ten year old to an MCR concert seeing has how it was emo and wouldn't get to crazy.
