At the moment i have smiley faces from smiley central - i did have my brothers cat Macy - i like to change it regularly - looking for something unusual.

The resolution is probably too small. A good sized one is 1000x1000. Go to the website in the source for a ton of background at good sizes. I go to control panel, display, background, and set the picture from there. Make sure you put stretch on or it might be blurred like your picture or repeated.

Just the other day I set my avatar, centered, on a teal background, as my desktop.... prior to that I had photos from my recent vacation... I like to change my desktop every few weeks.

I often change the background,at the moment it's a photo of one of my Siamese cats,looking a bit grumpy.
just changed it to tinkerbell(found a picture and saved it).
