GWB has been called or compared to:
a monkey, a buffoon, an idiot, a simpleton, a liar, a drunk, a nazi dictator.

Seems like if even half these were true, or at least if the accusers were serious, that impeachment would very high on the "to do" list.

I find Henry VIII's answer quite telling. He seems willing to sit back and watch (what many believe to be) a homicidal lunatic ruin the country simply for the promise of political gain.

Unfortunately, our two party system engenders such an attitude. I have fallen victim to its allure as well. Back when I belonged to one of the major parties, I would think: "Why don't we step back and let them have their way, ruin the country, and then once everyone witnesses the failure, they will beg us to fix it." But then it would occur to me that stepping back and allowing ruin and heartache to occur would be unethical.

It now seems plain that as long as the US has a two party system, there will always be a minority of thinking people in each party, while the rest enjoy blissful apathy. It is as if everyone can only be a fan of the White Sox, or the Cubs.

Ask around. How many people in the major parties agree with *every* *single* *plank* it the platform? Relatively few, I would wager. Both parties consist of alliances between ideologies that normally wouldn't get along. Belonging to one team or the other without the freedom of dissent for fear of retribution is harmful to the people of America. I encourage each of you to consider that your team is not 100% right. Why sit back and go along with what you consider to be wrong - even if it seems a small thing - for the sake of your team winning?

Register as an independent. It was a liberating experience for me. (Although I still got called in for jury duty).

Democrats would rather work with the man in power than try to steal power from the presidency in order to force there own bills through without disruption. You should be grateful that they aren't spending our already burdened lack of surplus looking through Bush's Christmas invitations to try and find anything strange like Republicans did to Clinton. Maybe if you grow up a little you will see that impeachment should only be used as a last resort.

Impeachment was taken off of the table by the Dems during the mid-term elections.
It would not be good for the Country in a time of war.

Causing division between Americans in a time of war is not good either.

How is not paying attention to current events goin for you?

What impeachment. There never was any intent to impeach. Why should we Bush and Cheney are better left alone to continue to screw up and continue the corruption it gives the Democrats more and more fodder to use against the GOP in next year's elections. Landslide for Dems. at both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue. Wahooo!

where is Bin Laden?

FLIP
"The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. It is our number one priority and we will not rest until we find him." G.W. Bush, 9/13/01
Washington Post, 9/17/01, UPI: Bush said he wants accused terrorist leader Osama bin Laden "dead or alive.” “I want justice...There's an old poster out West, as I recall, that said, 'Wanted: Dead or Alive,'"- G.W. Bush, 9/17/01, UPI
AP, 12/14/01: President Bush pledged anew Friday that Osama bin Laden will be taken "dead or alive."

FLOP:
Capturing OBL no longer a priority:
G.W. Bush, 3/13/02: I don't know where Bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority."
