I think if they do not fix some of there offensive issues they will not get by The Steelers. Pittsburgh's defense is on it this year. Cincy always has the ability to open up. Carson Palmer is a good quarterback, teamed up with Chad Johnson and T.J as receivers, that is a combo. Rudi Johnson is always a threat, but when they have passing miscues, they can not open up Rudi.
They only scored 27 points against a completely demoralized Ravens team, that turned the ball over 6 times. Maybe it is just week one miscues, or maybe not. I am looking for the Steelers and Bengals to battle out for the AFC North this year.
Whoever wins the North is going to by divisional victories. I am a Steeler fan, and I never cheer the Bengals on, but they have a good team.

You'll see the same formula as last year: Big offense, no defense. That'll be evidenced this week when the Browns score 24 points with a QB who's never won an NFL game (I'm talking about Anderson, not Quinn). Lucky for you, Palmer will most likely throw 5 TD passes and they'll win it easy, but that's beside the point, lol. They'll probably have a good year, but won't go far in the playoffs when they run into any team that can run it down their throats and clamp down the Bungles passing game. They'll maybe go 9-7 or 10-6, including a Dec 23 loss to Cleveland when Brady Quinn torches their secondary for 300 yards.

I think you guys have one of the most tallented teams in the league with one of the best quarterbacks in the league. Unfortunately you guys lack consistency, discipline, and leadership. Beating the Ravens was a huge win on opening day. But do you think you guys have what it takes to pull off victories against New England, one more game against Baltimore, and two games against your division rivals the Steelers? Not to mention the Seahawks and a surging 49er team? I guess we'll soon find out! My best friend is a Bengals fan. Would be cool to see an AFC Championship game in San Diego as the Chargers host the Bengals!

The way the game went the other night i expect the Bengals to go at least 12-4. The D looked GREAT on Monday and the O will pick up more as the season goes on. I think they can sweep the division and win the ez games down the stretch. The only games they MAY lose is to NE, Seattle, and two games at the end when the starters are resting for the first round bye WHOOO DEYYYYY!!!!!

yeah the bengals got the W on monday night, but the Ravens had to have 6 turnovers and an awful call for them to do it. and given all that they were given they still only manged to beat the Ravens by 7 points.
I think that the bengals will no doubt make the playoffs but they will not be the division champs. and they will most likely make an early exit.

SOB------Same Old Bungals!!! I can't understand why everyone is all jazzed about the Bungals' defense beating the Ravens. It's not hard when you consider the Ravens don't have an offense & played X-mas comes early with 6 turnovers! They'll have their typical year, win a bunch of meaningless games then fold when it comes to crunch time. Good old Palmer was nice & healthy last season & the Bungals managed to lose their last three & get booted from the play-offs by the Steelers---AGAIN!
Welcome to reality!!!

It comes down to the same thing every year with Cincy. If their defense can force turnovers, they go to the playoffs. Gaithers played like a monster and if he can keep that up and the offense can keep putting pressure on other teams to keep score, then they'll win the North.

I think they will make the playoffs as a wildcard (Baltimore will win the division) but never quite establish themselves as an elite team. A first or second round exit is the most probable result.
