but now I don't know. I starting realizing many liberals (that is the media's portrayal of them at least) supported every cause that made me feel ashamed to be born white, were pro-black favoritism, pro-immigrant no matter what, and most puzzlingly very supportive of muslims.
I still feel very strong on other liberal issues, and that won't change, but are there other liberals that feel like I do? Kind of like, now who represents me?

There is a common saying that a liberal is someone who can't take his own side; your question "now who represents me?" reminded me of it.

There are some pretty interesting and comprehensive political tests online to show where you fall on the political spectrum. Some are silly and some are very good, you'll just have to google 'political test' and wade through them.

If you're somewhat of an independent, critical thinker, it's unlikely you will fit uniformally into any established political category. I suppose I would call myself a conservatarian .......i agree with conservatives on most fiscal issues, and libertarians on most social issues. According to what I assume your stance is on affirmative action, immigration, and muslims, I would say you're not a entirely a liberal. Try one of the tests and see, they're pretty fun.

Well, if you want to know where you are on the spectrum take a test. DON'T use the media as an accurate judge, I don't care what medai, CNN or FOX.

You will probably get better (and worse) answers in the politics section.

I try to skip the label and just state my opinion on specific issues because I've had the same problem. If I call myself a liberal, I get hit for donations for every oddball thing that comes along.
