What camera / security cam would make a good backyard wildlife viewer?

It does not need to be wireless. Located within 200ft of house. Easy to run cables/power, as long as it is rated for outdoor use.

What would it take to make it remotely adjustable?

harbor freight has one and it will give you a picture at night also, for around $99. goto harborfreight.com
