I would be happy to. Baseball is a life-long learning experience. One can never know everything. If you are just starting, I envy you because I've loved every second of the pursuit. If you are 88 and have spent your life studying baseball, you have some new stuff to learn today.

Here is a transcript of a Bob Newhart bit called "Nobody Will Ever Play Baseball." In this monologue, he is pretending to be Abner Doubleday talking on the phone to a game marketing executive, trying to sell his new game called baseball.

This will tell you everything you want to know about the game of baseball.

Do you have any idea how long it would take to tell you EVERYTHING about baseball. There are hundreds of rules, little nuances, and strategies for hundreds of situations. Not to mention to vast amount of statistical data from a game that dates back to the 1800's. To get a brief overview, visit the MLB website.

Their is no one in the world that can explain all there is to know about bball.

Its the only game you can watch from a mirror and have the game move backwords, its one of two games where the defense starts with the ball in their posetion.

Lets see, 2 teams, 9 innings, home team bats in the bottom half of each inning, 3 outs per half of an inning, pitcher delivers a ball near or in the strike zone, batter does not have to swing, umpire behind the plate calls pitch ball(if out of srike zone) or strike if in strike zone, if batter swings and misses it is a strike. 4 balls=free base for batter, 3 strikes=1 out. foul balls are strikes until 3rd strike then it is not registered as a ball or a strike the count remains the same. batter hits ball in air it can be caught for an out, on the ground play is to first base, ball beats runner to base=out.
Men on base, with men on base...

There is too much to explain so i will end it here.

Go to MLB for complete rules.

Nine players on the field at a time, the pitchers throws the ball towards the home plate, the batter tries to hit it, you run around the bases with reckless abandon after hitting it!

Everything? No.

No one can tell you everything about baseball. Some might know a lot, but 'everything' is hard to come by. Check the link and go from there.

Good luck on your quest.

This is a simple game. You hit the ball, you catch the ball, you throw the ball. Some days you win, some days you lose, and some days, it rains.

And you have to give 110%.
