I need a copy of an uncontested divorce with no children for the state of Georgia. I have looked almost everywhere online and they all charge for them (even the sites that say they're FREE!). I just need one to go by as far as how it is worded and the layout of it. Time is of utmost importance here. Can anyone help me? I tried to ask at the courthouse and was told to look online. Figures. Someone help me please!!

You're probably going to have to spend at least a little money. If you absolutely refuse to do the smart thing and hire a lawyer to handle the drafting and filing, then at least go buy yourself a book about divorce in Georgia.

Here's one... http://www.amazon.com/Divorce-Georgia-Legal-Survival-Guides/dp/1572484926/ref=sr_1_5/105-6099260-8006052?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1189629765&sr=8-5

I haven't read it, but it's gt to be better than taking your chances with some fly-by-night website.

Did you go to the Domestic Relations section of the courthouse? Thats where I got mine in Florida. The forms (which were required to get the divorce) were free but there was a filing fee ($65). Whole process took 2 weeks.
