Im nearly finished all my homework but im stuck on the remaining three. Please help!

1) Given that 3x-2y=4
find the value of Y when x= -2

2) Solve 3(x+1)= 4 - (x-3)

3) Solve
X/3 + 3x/4 - 2x-1/2= 1 (<==== these are in fractions)

please help!

find the value of Y when x= -2

just fill in for x the value of -2

it will give you :
3x-2y=4
-6 -2y = 4
or
-2y = 4 + 6 ; sign flips
-2y=10

thus y = 10 / -2 = -5.

3.) I am confused by your equation. Is it...
x/3 + 3x/4 - (2x-1)/2 = 1?
I don't know if that 2x-1 goes together

3(-2) = -6, so
-6 - 2y = 4
-6-4 = 2y (we subtracted four from both sides)
-10=2y
-10/2 = 2y/2 (devide both sides by two)
-5 = y
