Yes there have been a few times where knowing exactly what to say the right way made a huge in pact on my life.

Sure! When I met my husband! if I had just sat back and waited for HIM to make the move- as shy as he was Id still be single!!! I had to send HIM a shot of jack daniels and then walk over and ask if I could have his car keys and take him home just in case he couldnt drive himself! We have been together ever since!

Yes it has changed tremendously. I used to feel awful at some of the things said to me. I then learned to decipher the source and motivation behind them....Now I say things like, "I hope attempting to put me down has built you up sufficiently...It had no effect on me."

It has stopped me making some big mistakes, sometimes it's not what you say but the way you say it, also see learned to think before I speak

Yes, a good vocabulary makes it possible to get better jobs, more respect and dates with more educated people.
