Yeah and I closed the trunk on 4 of my fingers too. Don't ask how it happened. I don't know what I was thinking I wasn't paying attention I guess. I felt like an idiot after. My man said to me "How do you close the trunk on your own hand"

Actually, it's happened too many times mate. I've done it once, forgetting my fingers were still left in the door frame of a car. My nephews, nieces and partner have all done my poor fingers no justice. I've come close to losing a couple of fingers once. Not pretty!!!!!

Yes, when I was about 7 years old (my thumb). My mom had to use tweezers to pull off the bits of nail left on my finger tip, my finger was all black and blue....ouch. Although it's not as bad as the time my cousin got his finger stuck in elevator doors (just thought I'd mention that :).

When I was around five, I got my hand slammed in a car door. As an adult, I've gotten my hand slammed under a car's hood. Hurts. I spewed profanities, just like you did. Somehow it makes it not hurt as bad to swear.

YUP! Hurts like a mother dont it? lol Even worse is when someone rolls your fingers up in the automatic car window! Your screaming your head off and they just have no idea what your problem is!

no, but I smashed my fingers between a canoe and a tree on a float trip! I imagine it is about the same pain...I broke 3 of my fingers on that trip!

lifescircle, I did it leaving a funeral. I was already crying, but man, I wailed! It really hurt and I believe I damaged the joint. That knuckle still doesn't close fully.
