It all depends on how long your day was, and how heavy you were bleeding. On heavier days, you might want to chage it around lunchtime (to ensure there are no leaks). On lighter days, you probably wouldn't have a problem leaving it in.

You CAN wear a tampon for up to 8 hours (Just not longer). You don't have to change it every 4 hours, like some people have been saying.

It shouldn't feel like it is ready to come out, if it does it was either in too long or not in correctly.

The maximum time to wear a tampon is 8 hours, 6 if possible. Place one before you leave for school and at lunchtime replace it with another, then when you get home switch to a pad. The longer you leave a tampon in, the more bacteria can accumulate.

No, a tampon won't feel like it is ready to come out..if it did, by then, it has probably been left in too long.

It may hurt when you take it out because you the lubrication in your vagina is low, so putting a new one in may cause discomfort, but it is best for your health to go ahead and change it to keep from having any problems.

It's fine as long as your tampon isn't in for over 8 hours. Put a fresh tampon in immediately before you get in the car to go to school. Best of luck!

If it is not more than an 8 hour day at school you should be okay, but I would check the instuctions on your tampon box. It goes into detail telling you what's best.

I have left one in a whole day of school and was fine.
But one time I fell asleep with one in and i had it in earlier that night and I got nervous and called my doctor. They said not to worry, they are only worried if it was in for 12 hours or longer...So i don't know. But I do know that a day at school is about 7 hours, and if you Have to, then it should be okay.

You could possibly get away with it, depending on how heavy your period is. I wouldn't recommend you do it often though. You should change your tampon every 4 to 8 hours.

you should only wear a tapmon for 8 hours max. Wearing it any longe than that puts you at risk for TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrom)

Heck no!
that will cause a infection or bacteria problems down there.

TSS is a systemic illness, which means that it affects the whole body. It can be caused by one of two different types of bacteria, Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogene

A tampon must be changed every 4 hours!!!
