1) x to the power of 3 + x to the power of 2 + x

So since x is subtitued by 1,is it..

1 * 1 * 1 + 1* 1 + 1 which would equal to = 3

= 1 ³ + 1 ² + 1
= 1 + 1 + 1
= 3

x^3+x^2+x=(1)^3+(x)^2+1=1+1+1=3

If x = 1, then the answer is 3.

but the same sentence can also be read as...
