The Democrat's approach to defending America is just juvenile.
They only want to win elections and they are foolish enough to think the path to political victory is to take a stand that is the opposite of any stand the Republicans take.
The Republicans always take a pro-America, pro-National Defense approach.
To be opposite, the Democrats think they have to be Anti-America, ANTI-National Defense!
That approach is TREASONOUS by definition!
If that isn't the reason for their betrayal, then they ARE traitors.
They have to grow up and take the LEAD in being pro-America and Pro-Defense or they will keep loosing elections until there is NO MORE Democratic Party of any significant importance.
I usually vote Republican because I am pro-America, NOT because I identify myself as a Republican.
If the Democratic Party changes, I might vote for them. I'm NOT happy with much of what the Republicans do.
I AM a Conservative and I feel I have NO good representation in either existing branch of Congress!

I find your statement treasonous - just as bush holds his ground in Iraq and stands by his so called principles so does kucinich who is totally against the war - the administration has sent people there as well I believe it was rice who last visited syria if my memories right- I am not a democrat but I refuse to state they are an enemy (as misguided as they are )when we know our enemies are not fellow americans but a small group of muslim extremists

They aren't, despite your claims. I consider it much more treasonous to lie to the American people about the reasons for starting a war. Bush lied in his 2003 SOTU Address about the yellow cake intel. He'd been informed more than once by the CIA that the intel was bogus, yet he used it anyway to help convince us all that we were in imminent danger from Hussein. There was nothing improper about Pelosi going to Syria as Speaker of the House, spin it anyway you please. Kucinich is a nutjob in my opinion and hardly represents the whole of the Democratic Party. Nice try though.
