I get them constantly, and a lot of the time they're from my contacts... so when that happens, I delete them from my 360 and Y!A contact list.
You can say that I ask for it, but I don't really care. No one deserves that kind of disrespect and disgust thrown at them.

oooh yeah, usually b/c I'll ask a question in a category that people don't think i should like my most recent question in pregnancy..the hate mail heheh. The other time was my pic when I guess i was showing (hold on to your shirt) --CLEAVAGE---the amount of hate mail and being told I was a mommy and a wife and how could I be so sl!tty was laughable! I figure if my husband doesn't care what I do, why would anyone else? i live for those moments and could care less if someone on here likes me or not or thumbs me all the way to friggen timbuktoo.

I get a few, not many but I have certain standard responses to them that usually stop them. Usually, I ask an ethereal question like "Do you know the Shinto chant for the 47 words of God?" or something that makes a normal person think or wonder. If that's not the reaction, it rapidly becomes apparent they are lacking that capacity. POOF! They no longer require any effort or energy.
When they become oppressive I simply cut and paste and send an E-mail to yahoo's TOS team. They have the power to deal with them.
Mostly though, if from a moron or other person that only has those methods of immature, non-constructive communication then they are deemed "persona non-grata" and never considered or recognized again.
Nothin' to it.

I don't get them very often, actually, but I think we all get some because there are so many hateful trolls hanging around here. But when I do, I just laugh and ignore them. Life is perhaps too short to try to get even or take any of this too seriously.

I get them all the time. It's like everybody's in a bad mood. I know exactly how you feel. If they want to say something mean then they shouldn't say anything at all. Don't you agree?

I rarely get them. In fact, in almost a year, I've had only one user send me a nasty message. I just blocked him.

I don't get any rude or insulting messages from Y!A users, but then I have a sense of humor though!!!lol I do get messages though!!

to tell the actuality, I examine each and every 4 days, no one truly emails me, I dont have something significant to work out the two, regardless of the undeniable fact that it truly is sturdy to maintain on objective of it like a pair of times an afternoon.
