Why did they up teh age rating?!?!?

Ever since i was 14 i wanted to read the manga battle vixens(this was back when it was OT 16+) and i waited and now im finally able to read btu they upped teh age rating!! can anyoen tell me why they upped it?!?! and if it is indeed too saucy for a 16 year old...thanks

Large amounts of ecchi/fanservice, nudity, etc...

Different 16 year olds can handle different things. If I remember correctly, there is no straight out hentai, but it is definitely more saucy that the average ecchi- hence the new rating.

Then again, people in Japan really don't have a problem with nudity in the like, and this would be considered perfectly acceptable for a 16 year old over there.
