Could it be that you constantly feel it's necessary to troll for liberal hatred??

Your question has no real answer. It's wrapped in a generalization made to infuriate some liberals and is therefore simply inconsistent. (I could be a liberal who doesn't give a rip about your grammar, therefore your point is wrong.) But I'll give it a try anyway:

For those that do feel the need to correct your grammar, it could possibly be that they were educated (sternly perhaps) to use proper grammar and they find your misuse of it annoying and sophomoric. Maybe they read a lot and are used to reading good writing. Maybe they just want to make fun of you because they think you are a troll. Who knows?

But for you to extrapolate the actions of a few individuals from a group into the characterization of the whole is very ignorant.

Well, one would think that if you want to seem intelligent, and have an intelligent exchange, you would want to use the language of the nation you live in appropriately. Truly, if you want "liberals" or anyone else for that matter to take you seriously, investing a little effort toward your grammar would go a long way.

As far as the cons go, grammar and intelligence don't seem to be as much of a concern-look at the ill-spoken half-wit that's in the White House. It's embarrasing.

I'm not liberal and I think your grammar and spelling are atrocious. You're right, it has nothing to do with your intelligence, but if you're going to argue that everyone in America should speak English, as many Conservatives do, then you should set an example by using proper grammar and spelling.

No one is perfect, but you should at least make an effort.

The "appearance" of one's intelligence is more than likely reflective of the reality of one's intelligence. How do you expect to be taken seriously when there are at least five misspellings, two punctuation errors, and such poor sentence structure in your brief question??

I assume you consider yourself a conservative, and oppose any conditions or idealisms brought forth from those evil, terrible 'liberals'. Here's Webster's definitions:
CONSERVATISM: "A political philosophy based on tradition and social stability, stressing established institutions, and preferring gradual development to abrupt change."
LIBERALISM: "A political philosophy based on belief in progress, the essential goodness of man, and the autonomy of the individual and standing for the protection of political and civil liberites."

I don't know a 'liberal' who is against social stability or established institutions. I don't know a conservative who doesn't belief in progress or the essential goodness of man. So, it seems to me that there's a little bit of liberalism and conservatism in ALL of us! To attach artificial labels (especially when most of us don't even understand the meaning of those labels) is obtuse, irresponsible and valueless. Just because Al Franken or Rush Limbaugh brainwashed you into believing you're of one political persuasion or another doesn't mean you have an astute understanding of such political Pabulum.
It's time to put an end to all this hatred, bias, and political bigotry - time for Americans to begin to unify our country and defend it against all the sloths in government who are incompetent, useless, and a danger to our society. Such political division is futile - and a threat to our very freedom.

Now, before you begin ranting and raving about what a stupid dumba*s I am, please review your basic high school English textbooks and learn how to spell correctly, punctuate properly, construct a credible sentence, ask an intelligent question with a respectable syntax, and finally be taken seriously as a provocative free-thinking contributor to this forum. Thank you. -RKO- 09/12/07

I don't think Liberals attack your grammar because a Republican so they say is always so much more educated then liberals, But, really if you do you use spell check it really helps understand what you are writing, I'm a liberal and I misspell a lot of times and spell check does help me out.
Just do what you like just overlook anyone that corrects you and how do you know it is a Liberal doing all this proper grammar check.

Do you deserve it? If you're misspelling things while you attack the libs, then maybe you've got it coming.

By the way, it's ridiculous to misspell "Misspell".

Speaking and writing with proper grammar not only makes you look more intelligent, it makes you more intelligible. It really doesn't matter how spectacular your idea is if you aren't capable of communicating it effectively to another human being. Rather than staying comfortable with poor communication skills, try to improve them. You'll understand a lot more of what people are saying to you, and they'll understand you better as well.

"The appearance of intelligence is nothing compared to actual intelligence".

Now I understand why conservatives voted for G. W. Bush. You were obviously expecting his actual intelligence to be much greater than what it appears to be. The fact that you still believe this dribble explains why you voted him in a second time.

Lots of kind liberals answered your question. I'm not one of them. You misspelled "appearance" and "mispell" and "don't" has an apostrophe in it. People correct you because your mistakes are basic and make you sound, uh, juvenile. If you can stand the heat, get..................! Almost missed "grammer"...should be grammar! To smug Holy Defender:..."them selfs" should be THEMSELV ES!

That's very simple my friend. That's because it's all they have. They can't bring intelligent ideals to the table of debate, so they spew out personal attacks, spell and grammar police the YA!

As this is a forum that is purely through written form the way a person writes either aides or detracts from a person's perception of the contributer. For example, if a person has a highly illogical or weirdly biased post and their spelling/grammar is poor than I make a lot of assumptions about that person. It's the same we make assumptions about people due to physical appearance.
