In Rune Factory, why does the main character take a deep breath?

He only does this occasionally. What does it mean? Thanks.

Nothing. Its just an animation to make him seem more life-like.

I think he only does this after long sprints, like he has to catch his breath. I've also noticed him doing it sometimes when the daytime changes color; 3 / 6 / 10 o'clock. I think it's just for fun no real meaning or usefulness to it.
