Now I know this song is old but even listening to it now, Renegade got to be collaboration in hip-hop ever. I mean, you got arguebly to two best rapper alive spit real lyrics...not bs...but real truth and killing it. I mean even though Jay-Z got murder on his own song (and please nobody say otherwise cause there no way you can defend that), both Jay-Z and Eminem spit their two of his top 10 best verses ever in that song and it was ridiculous. Who can tell any other song better than Renegade (rap/hip-hop)? Who can tell me another that even match to the collaboration?

its one of my favorite collabos. Definetly check out the original with Royce Da 5'9'. It has a little more piano, lil less strings, but some extra verses by a truelly gifted emcee. I dont know what version I like better.

I'm the man is right. The original with Royce and Em is much better.

The track Benny is talking about is Coming Of Age Pt 2 (Da Sequel) which along with the original Coming Of Age are two of the sickest collabos between Bleek and Jigga.

Well obviously you have never heard the ORIGINAL VERSION with Royce da 5'9 and Eminem...because that is MILES above the version that Jay and Em did...

So you have something to do today...go listen to the ORIGINAL...come back and reevaluate your statements....because the Royce and Em version is so SMOOTH and they go off each other so WELL that it stands out and shows what they coulda done if they did an album together...peep the first verse from Royce and feel free to listen to the beat and spit along using his words...

Yo yo, it's several different levels to pickin up shovels

There it is, we invaded created a Pyramid -

So {*heavy breathing*} breathe, I'd rather REACH for your neck
And I never HEAT you for respect, unless you GREET me wit less

Your dyin, how many lumps ****** want?
Who's ready for y'all? We ready for y'all
We too incredibly raw, for any artist that said he would draw

and another reason this is better is cuz Royce mentions what would basically lead to Proof's death...his drinkin problem

Jay-Z and Memphis Bleek - The joint that goes, "...as I stand one leg of my pants up in a stance like and what..." "I done came up put my life on the line switched the game up now its my time to shine..." THAT IS ONE OF THE BEST COLLABOS EVER... dispute that one. Lyrics are ridiculous!!

I agree with you, except the part about it being the best collabo ever.

Jay-Z and B.I.G.-"Brooklyn's Finest" and Dre and Snoop-"Deep Cover" are worthy competition, just to name a couple.
