no he's not, sadly, but no one really was. IF you weren't there you don't know. I didn't fight for no oil (bad grammar is intentional) I fought for the man to the left and right of me and that's all. We were duped, if you were overly mean to him, then yes, if you were just stating your opinions on the matter then no.

Iraq was not about the oil, it was about human preservation. You have no idea what those people lived like before under such horrid dictatorship. I think if a few of these "do-good-Americans" who have an answer for everything would live for a week in a foreign country they might have a different opinion as to why we're there!

Well, I don't know if it was *all* about the oil--I think Bush's ego and the need to show up his father played a big role. But if you believed the line about WMDs and you believed that Bush really was trying to instill democracy (which you can't do at gunpoint), you might want to concede that you were wrong, and he is partially right.
