FOR INSTANCE WE WOULD NOT STOP THE SLAUGHTERING IN DARFUR, BUT WE WILL FREE THE IRAQI PEOPLE. WE WILL NOT DO BUSINESS WITH CUBA, BECAUSE IT IS A COMMUNIST COUNTRY AND THEY IMPRISON DISSIDENTS, BUT WE WILL DO BUSINESS WITH CHINA. The word is spelled "hypocrite." Some may be.
I think the government is making the right decisions...including the areas you cited. Cuba is run by a nut case who will not yield anything. The Chinese are fast becoming an economic success. The leaders are not far left wing to the death.
Darfur is a UN problem. That's why the UN exists.
A coalition of the willing took on the Iraq problem. At least 60 countries thought action was necessary.
I disagree with you last statement. And it does not matter if anyone trusts the US. They should know not to mess with us.

STOP YELLING!!

Everyone is a hypocrite. This is a Greek word for the actors who changed masks to play different parts on stage - so a hypocrite was someone who acted as something they were not.

Did you ever say something nice to someone who you just wanted to scream at?? (like the cop giving you the ticket, or the dean giving you detention?) Then you're a hypocrite. So we're just talking about degrees then.

Who pays for all of the saving of the Darfur-ians?? You? Me?

I'd much rather the government retreated to the shores of the Western Atlantic and close our doors to the outside world for twenty years or so. Then there will be another world war when we will be needed to save humanity AGAIN. The business of America is business and if it ain't good business (money) we shouldn't be doin' it.

Not just our politicians. It's the same all over the world. First and foremost politicians are out for themselves. If there is any time left to think of the "Little People" why then they do, and many times it would be better if they did not.

First off, they're not hippocrits. They're hypocrits. Every last one of them. And second of all, there's a caps lock key on the left side of the keyboard below the tab key and above the shift key. Good day.

Now wait just a minute! Our politicians may be liars, alcoholics, wife-beaters, homosexuals, drug abusers, pedophiles, prescription-pill poppers, con artists, gambling addicts, cross dressers, adulterers, pimps, prostitutes, war mongers, gluttons, pornographers, rapists, murderers, or shoplifters - but HOW DARE you call them hypocrites????

It would be great if we were guided by principals instead of economic interests, but that would also be a country that would have universal health care and a decent school system. Unfortunately these are things the Republican Party despises.

Don't all countries? France for one. All countries are interested in their country before anyone else. We would be better off if we had.
