Now that you've received a barrage of uninformed answers from people who just read the final score from Sunday's game, I'll try to give you some actual inside.
First off, Quinn is the most talented QB on the roster, before and after the trade. This is common knowledge to anyone who saw any of the preseason games, especially at Denver. Quinn has a lot of talent, and Frye and Anderson are still both young guys so their "experience" isn't much of a factor.
That being said, Anderson is a better QB for this team right than Frye was. If you look a the Pittsburgh game, Frye got sacked 5 times in his limited play, but Anderson was only sacked one time the whole rest of the game. This was all because of Frye, not because of the line. The o-line actually held up well, considering the starting RT was out (Tucker) and the potentially best player on the line (Bentley) is still on the PUP list. This, along with the fact that there are 2 very talented but new lineman were playing, and the line has not had time to gel yet. Later in the season, you will see a VERY strong o-line on this team, and right now it's still a pretty decent one.
Anyway, Anderson gets rid of the ball quicker and deals with pocket pressure much better than Frye. Too bad he can barely hit brick wall standing 10 feet away with his throws. Overall, you'll see an improvement over Frye, but still will not be impressed.
This whole issue will be moot in short order though. Anderson will be starting against Cincy, but Crennel has already said Quinn could see playing time depending on the score and game situation. It's also been said that Quinn's time line to start has been accelerated greatly, and all indications already pointed to him starting after the bye. As of now, we will most likely see him starting in the next 3 weeks, regardless of how Anderson plays.
Anyway, expect a much stronger team in the second half of the season. Once Quinn is in and the o-line has had some time to gel, this WILL be a competitive team. The Pittsburgh game turned into a blowout because of 6 turnovers, and great punting by the Steelers. Almost every position on the field but the QB had a solid game, and the Browns were forced into a pass only offense very early.

I don't think that Anderson or Quinn will be able to do better than Frye this season. I think that either QB will do about as well as Frye did, maybe a little worse. Too bad that 2008 1st rounder you guys gave to the Cowboys to get Quinn is going to be a top 3 pick.

I don't think they will be better. Quinn right now is an unproven commodity in the NFL and honestly he wasn't that great of college quarterback. But the Browns need more than a new quarterback to turn the team around. It's going to take a few seasons, and that's depending on if they make good draft and trade decisions. It's an uphill battle. But take it from a long time Colts fan who suffered through many abysmal seasons, bottom of the league teams can and do turn themselves around.

If you like quinn and you are a browns fan you need to leave him on the bench, holding a clip board for a while. Clevland is a 4 win team if i have ever seen one. no matter who is at qb. They will be in the race for worse record in the league for the next 5 years.

It would be easy to bash the Browns, but you asked a different question. Only time will tell if they will be better off but one thing is sure they better start protecting the quarterback or it won't make any difference.

no they will not do better
no Anderson is not better
Quinn will not win them ballgames...and I doubt he'll do any better than the other 2/3 depending if Dorsey gets in
they need to improve in seemingly countless ways in order to become a respectable franchise again.
I'm not trying to be mean to you.....honestly.......and I hope it doesn't come across that way
I'm just telling it like it is
