take a piece of paper and tear it into smaller pieces. Write down Jesus on one piece. Jehovah on another piece. Allah on another. Then write creation on a piece. evolution on a piece. etc. until you get a hat full of little oieces of paper. Put them in a hat and shake them up. Grab a handfull and read them. that is your new religion. I think it's a great idea.

Religion, I would rather call it your belief and it is just that, what you believe in.
It is no good calling yourself something, just for the sake of it.
I have my beliefs, some may be similiar to that religion and some may be similar or the same as that particular religion, but what I believe is just that.
What I believe, is, everybody should be able to believe whatever that want in the matter of faith, belief, values, ideas, realities, or if you have to use the word religion.
I do not see myself as Hindu, but I did a test on Beliefomatic or something like that and I was 100% Hindu, and I am not from India either, and all the other "religions" showed different percentages, like 89%.....
78%....., and this was interesting, as I don't call myself any religion.

What's so new about that? Isn't that what most people do these days?
Actually, to be more correct, most people don't even bother with a hat, they just choose the bits they like out of all religions and make up their own one.
Truth is there is only one way...
Jesus said that He is "THE" way and the ONLY way.
I choose to believe that myself.

Evolution is not a religion...At best it's science and at worst it's philosophy....never a religion. So I rate it a 2 on a scale of 1-10.

As if there weren't enough bastardization just in the Protestant side of Christianity and all the splits and bickering. You amalgam would just split into factions which, in time, would call themselves by different names just to keep their believers pointed toward the right collection basket.

I'm Mormon and I personally think that that is a bad idea. If you want to get a new religion you should pray to see which one is right.
