Well, in her defense for dropping it, I think that the majority of people who know about this situation didn't listen to that game, but only heard about it after the anger started to flare up. Myself, I had never even heard the NAME Don Imus until this happened, and I know a lot of other people who had the same reaction. I think the point has been made against Imus, and following up with a suit isn't necessary.

The lawsuit was an attempted cash grab - as they say sticks and stones, etc. - Imus apologized, lost his job, and a big tado was made about nothing.
She realized that she was a lone twit making a twit grab at fast cash -- and Imus was not going to roll over and hand out a pay off.

She showed a lack of intelligence and understanding of freedom of speech when she brought the lawsuit in the first place. It made her look like she was just looking to cash in by waiting to file the lawsuit until after he reached a settlement with his lawsuit against the network.
Maybe she came to her senses and saw how this made her look, maybe someone gave her a little lesson in her chances of winning this lawsuit or maybe she thought she could get Imus to settle out of court and that didn't happen. Whatever caused her to drop the suit, I'm just glad the court's time (and therefore our tax dollars) won't be wasted to hear this ridiculous lawsuit.

except she would be in a position to coach how this fairly has affected her negatively and prepare that folk fairly believed Imus that she improve into in fact a nappy headed ho she don't have a case. The atypical factor to me is that she is the only one suing? His enormous payday shouldn't impression their vanity in any respect. Him being presented the $20 million is purely contractual. He had a freelance and it improve into no longer honored whilst they fired him. They knew what form of a radio character he improve into whilst they signed the contract. EDIT: ShadowCat please clarify and prepare to me that what Imus pronounced is "ruining their futures in employment and reputations"? So if one in each of them fails to get a activity they blame Imus' comments. How did this harm their popularity - do you unquestionably have faith that anybody believes that they are what Imus called them (unquestionably?) what proportion of their acquaintances and buddies or any destiny employers do you extremely think of have faith what a marvel jock like Imus says approximately anybody?

Most likely realized that it was their own hub bub about the whole deal that made it into news.
How many people actually listen to the game?
How many people heard the slur from the big deal they made over it?

Perhaps reality set in when someone taught her the whole "sticks and stones" rhyme. Either that or she started to notice that intruding crevice getting large from her chin to her forehead.... no one likes a butt head.
