I agree with you. I have a partner of 13 years and we have always lived in our separate houses, about 6 miles apart. It suits us very well and I like my independence. Living next door would be too close for H and I. After all, women are from Venus and men are from Mars!

well that's what i do...my partners flat is 10 yards across the garden from me...it works for us...we used to live together but when all his kids visited with their kids the place was always cramped and i was the one who always picked up after them, so i suggested that he took the flat next door, it's perfect....

well if they really suit eachother why wouldn't they get together in a relationship and maybe live together, or live together just to save money, either works
