Good queston i thought that myself and i cannont find anyway it can be traced, because at one point i was looking and hoped the person i was looking at wouldnt know because im not friends with them anymore and just wanted to see what they looked like and if they had changed since i last saw them.

nah, facebook will never show whose searches for you/whose profile you look at/whose pictures you look at etc... its all part of their security policy :)
