“Everyone has to go. Going is part of the gig,” Rosie, 45, reportedly says of Barbara, 77, in the book.
“And I would be less-than-honest if I were to say that there is no trouble between Barbara and I,” O’Donnell writes, according to the report. “I mean, our differences are obvious.”

This was posted on MSNBC today.

Ms.chacha - I didn't seek out the book; MSNBC sent out an e-mail "breaking news". Know first, speak second.

I don't see you as whining about anything. Rosie's new book is a current topic and I totally understand your asking a question about it and giving your opinion.
May I add to it? Could Rosie shut up AND just go away. Move to her Miami home and stay out of NYC and the limelight. A little bit of Rosie goes a long way. She's no longer the Queen of Nice.
Perhaps she should practice what she says of Barbara - "that going is part of the gig".

Poor Rosie, she thinks she got kicked off the View, despite all her explanations that her contract was only for 1 year. She thinks she is picked on because of her lifestyle, politics & thoughts. She has the right to be heard, and Ihave the right to not listen to her, or read her book. Guess she found out that sitting at home, and not behind the desk of your talk show, isn't that great a job.

What's wrong with that?
I don't get it. Why should she shut up?

techtwosue, what are you talking about?
Rosie started out as a standup comic, then she acted, she's done a bunch of movies(A League Of Their Own), she's a producer, she's done stuff on Broadway(Fiddler on the Roof). She's done all kinds of charity stuff. She's written 2 books. She had a long running incredibly successful daytime talk show. She's now an artist. She was on the View... etc... Are you kidding? lol

No your not. I've wanted her to shut that big trap of hers for years! And when she got on the View she became even worse! She's just another celebrity who thinks her opinion is worth more than us civilians!. She's a wack job! I feel sorry for her poor girlfriend who has to put up with that!

So what? Why don't YOU shut up. Everyone's entitled to his/her opinion and Barbara is giving her's tonight on TV. (CNN)
The people Rosie talks about in her book are all adults and can defend themselves (Kelly Ripa, Trump, etc.) if they choose.

Rosie is Rosie and you don't have to listen or pay attention to what she says. She is what she is, which is outspoken. I checked out her website once out of curiousity, and she wears her heart on her sleeve.

I guess I respect free speech and her right to vent without worrying what people think more than any particular desire I might have for her shut up.

I don't understand how she increased their ratings - she is so offensive in so many ways - in Hollywood those who cannot do TV - write. Heaven knows she has the spare time now - Thank God.

I agree with some of the things she says from time totime but she has a habit of attacking people for their views and going WAY overboard. So, yes it is time she just sits down and shuts up.

I wonder who told Rosie that anyone cares what she thinks. What is her talent anyhow? She's not a comedienne,singer,actress-how did she become famous? Unless you couldnt tell-she annoys me. I'm Irish Catholic, so I should like her right? Cant she move to the Pacific rim or something?
