They say "never bench your studs". I find that is mostly true.
If you want to choose Cutler, he's likely to have a nice game, but be prepared for the ridicule if he tanks. He's got great upside, and seems to get better week to week. He has too many turnovers, which is a bummer. But, he did torch the Bills for 307.
You have to have some pretty serious nards to choose a guy who has only started 6 games over a guy like Brady after last week.
If it was me, I would play Brady this early in the season, but I like your style if you take a gamble. It's just a game.

I seem to remember that the only really good part of Cutler's game against Buffalo was at the end when he kept hitting Javon Walker to set up that game-winning field goal.
Then again, Oakland's pass defense was a joke and Jon Kitna lit up the fantasy scoreboard like a pinball machine. Will Cutler have the same success as Kitna? At Home? Against the Raiders? Sure seems like he will on paper.
So, what about Tom Brady? The Chargers allowed the Patriots 17 points in their regular season meeting 2 years ago. And the San Diego defense will really be stepping up against New England after last year's playoff debacle. But, Brady is Brady. How can you sit him?
Here's an intangible that might help you make up your mind: The Chargers led the league in sacks last year. Shawne Merriman, Shaun Phillips, Jamal Williams, and Luis Castillo are all healthy and hungry. Brady will not be standing like a statue in the pocket for at least 5 seconds on every pass play like he did against the NY Jets last week. San Diego will harass, pressure, and sack Brady all afternoon. And, when Brady is pressured, he makes mistakes.
If your league gives minus points to the QB for sacks and/or interceptions, go with Cutler. Otherwise go with Brady. But, I can't help but feel that Brady is going to have a long day on the job on Sunday.
BTW - I have Brady, too. But, my back-up is David Garrard. And, no, I didn't consider starting Garrard over Brady this week.

Tom Brady no doubt.
Last year the leading reciever was Reche Caldwell. Granted the Chargers have one of the top secondary tandems in the league which is caused by the great rushing attack. But Moss put up 180 yards last week, Wes welker looked good, and Donte Stallworth will have a breakout game soon. This is a much better recieving core.
Jay Cutler...he's going to be a really good fantasy quarterback. But they're going up against a Raiders defense that isn't have as good against the run as they are against the pass. The broncos love to run and I think we see more of Travis Henry than we do Cutler.
