Question

I heard that Ellen Page has her first love scene in the independant movie Mouth to Mouth. Is this true and what is the movie about? Is she good in Hard Candy? What scenes made that movie so controversial? I would doubt there's any nudity because of her age, so was there just a lot of violence or swearing?

Hand Candy is a brutal piece of work. Ellen plays a young girl lured over the internet...to the lair/house of a child molester. What takes place next should be seen. I find it fascinating the ease with which people try to spoil good movies by giving away pieces of the plot...
This is one movie that Ellen Page literally explodes into your conciousness. See it for yourself.

She plays the daughter of the lead scientist of a crack squad of scientists who put out fires caused by engineered biology and technology gone horribly wrong. Excellent series...and Ellen who is in the first year of the series...is superb. When you see it...you will understand why they chose her for Hard Candy.

No idea about mouth to mouth, but Hard Candy was an excellent movie.

There were plenty of scenes that made controversial but I wouldn't want to ruin it for others that have not seen it. The scenes were particularly "wicked" in the way Ellen's character acted toward the antagonist.

she plays a fourteen year old who convinces a grown man that she's castrated him.... the entire movie consists of a minor torturing a pedophile.. great movie though.. she did an awesome job.. (the guy did too.. )
