This is more of an 'old school' list - but these guys were some of the best to ever play the game - Neely, Samsonov, Bergeron, Thorton are great players, but not in the same class as Orr, Shore, and Esposito. IMO only.

1. Bobby Orr
2. Eddie Shore
3. Phil Esposito
4. Milt Schmidt
5. Raymond Bourque
6. Terry Sawchuk
7. Dit Clapper
8. Brad Park
9. Bernie Parent
10. Jacques Plante

Old Bruins Players

Some decent players you chose for someone so young. But Samsonov? No Brad Park? No Cashman, Hodge, Middleton, Sanderson? I see a few picked guys like Parent that barely played for the Bruins, as well as Thornton and Sawchuck. Guys like Milt Schmidt gave their hearts and souls to the Bruins, Don Awrey stayed home while Orr did his thing. I know I am not answering your question and I see from your profile you are quite the fan. Have I got a deal for you. I've had a few young fans put their best rival as their avatar for 30 days and I've sent them 30 cards from the early 80's and 1990-91. Check with Chris the leafs fan and Matt, the Flames fan. As a older fan I have enough doubles from those years and will share them with you if you put a Montreal Canadien avatar or a NY Yankee one as yours for 30 days. You do not allow e-mails so please check my profile for mine and if you want to do the deal, as soon as I see the switch, I will send you bruin cards the next day. This is no scam, I'm an old hockey fan enjoying the off season with a few extra cards I can share... For a price.
Orr, Esposito, Hodge, Cashman, Cheevers, Sanderson, Bucyk, Awrey, Park, Bourque, Middleton, Schmidt, Neely. Whoops, too many, I may make the same mistake with the cards too, but always too many, not less. Keep cheering your team on and stay in school...

I have trouble understanding why Sergei Samsonov is ahead of Phil Esposito on that list. Or why Samsonov is ahead of Thornton. Or why Samsonov is ahead of Bucyk. Come to think of it, why is Samsonov even on that list?

~

Oh, I see, lol, I was thinking you were high or something, lol. Yeah, I get it, my top 10 favorite Bruins players. In that case, I don't really have a top ten list of my favorite Bruins players. I guess my fav is Bourque, and then Orr is my second favorite, I wasn't around to see Esposito or Bucyk play, so I don't really know them. My favorite Bruin right now is Marc Savard, then Patrice Bergeron.
