So . . . if you don't make a mistake, does that mean you are headed in a straight line, or that you've curved back from your last mistake . . . is the path of life a circle or a straight line . . . and are there any rest stops along the way because I want a lemonade.

I think that mistakes are part and parcel of the human experience
Its twists and turns are experiences by which we will grow if we learn from them and avoid a repeat
Mistakes are like the cracks of a relatively smooth road
That will keep us on our toes so we will not get bored.

I suppose that's one way of looking at it - it might even make me feel a little better if someone told me that just after I made a mistake....and I know I make enough mistakes.
