normally they inject the meat with water up to 15% to keep it moist during the process of cooking and it can also contain sugar as well some of the supermarkets use this process on their packet meats and even frozen meats ,therefore if you add 15% to the cost of the food that you are buying it is not as cheap as you think.ham bacon chicken turkey to name a few are the products that contain added water

"Spring" chickens, about 3 months old, don't need tenderizing.
