While I realize many people are having accounts suspended from unnecessary and unwarranted claims, how is it that moderators choose to reply to contestors AFTER you've posted your question?

I posted a message to appeal my suspension almost 3 hours ago. Someone else posted an appeal for a suspension as well about 1 hour ago and has already received a message stating claims.

Do they just ignore people with legit claims and answer everyone elses?

This is extremely infuriating to say the least. Should my answer come before those who post appeals after mine or do I get the luxury of sitting and waiting because Yahoo researched my appeal and found no wrong?

What gives?

David; I know what I'm bound by. So I assume a person should be left in the dark when it comes to finding out why the suspension occured, right? All I want to know is what was violated. If it's legit I have no qualms, but if it's unwarranted than yeah I have a reason to be angry about it.

I got a violation notice (my first) last month. I appealed it, got a response 2 days later saying they would research it. That was over 2 weeks ago and I haven't heard anything else. I don’t expect to hear anything. The entire process is a joke.

I got an anwer on the first "deleted" answer I had and appealed. It took a week, so the question was already gone. Second one, I was told they do not give reasons for deleting or answers to appeals. Guess they don't work with each other too closely. I just go on with my answers and let them live their dreams of power.

Likely you will not hear back from them, start changing your email address or you'll lose that next. This yahoo answers thing may be yahoos ruin if they have no customers they can't make revenue and I thought that was the goal here.

it takes them a day or two at times. sometimes you never get any response, while others get two or more. it is a strange setup, without any clear guidelines

Its a privately operated service. You are bound by the terms and conditions of service. Get over it.
