Nasty Jr. sounds like a sandwich from Wendy's.

UH, I'll have a Nasty Jr., large fries and a diet coke... you better make that two Nasty Jr's...
I had a friend named Merrill (strange enough by itself) his father was also named Merrill so he was called either Merrill Jr. or Little Merrill, he named his kid Merrill so I was always confused as to what to call the kid. Was he a Little Merrill, New Merrill, Merrill Jr. Jr.. They used to get mad when I would ask how junior junior was doing, if you just said Merrill it was confusing, Little Merrill was no better. What a lame thing to name your kid Merrill!
So Nasty, in answer to your question I would suggest you name it Merrill no matter what gender or even if it's stillborn. You might want to toss in some roman numerals too, something like LVIIIX would be good.
Why isn't there a word for a female with the mothers name? Like Judy Dr. or something like that? Huh? Well I hope you can sleep while pondering that one!

well first of all, i don't know if your parents explained the birds and the bees to you. but you can't get a man pregnant. We lack the reproductive organs to carry a baby. The movie "Junior," that can't happen. Now that that's over, the only time i think it's acceptable to continue a name is when the name means something special to all parties included in the birth. I will never name my children after myself though.

I like Roman Numerals after the name.
No jr. be a II, so then you can have III, and IV, and even V!!
I wish I was a V.

i thinks it's sort of weird. even though my brother is a junior. i think the child should have his/her own name instead of being given some old @ss name.
how would it look for a one year old to have the name henry jr? awful.

I'd prefer my child to be an original unless his father really wanted him to be a Jr.
