At my school we have a miss all that competiton where the competitors walk around with milk jugs to get money and the girl with the most amount wins. I've been wanting to dothis since last year when i first heard about it but when i told my friend i wanted to she didnt have the reaction i was looking for. neither did 2 of my other friends. They dont think i will win and shouldnt sign up for it. Im not a geek or a dork and i know alot of people and kinda outgoing. i wanted to do this since last year and i dont wanna wati until next year to do this. What should i do?

hey I think if you want to put yourself out there..that's cool. But I think maybe your friends are trying to look out for your best interests and don't want to see you get hurt if you don't win or don't get that many dollars. They care about you and don't want to see you sad over such a dumb contest.
