Yes, you can, especially when you haven't been on the pill for very long. You should wait a couple of weeks before depending on the pill entirely. If you want to have sex without a condom or the pull out method, try using another form of back up birth control. I'm a big fan of the Today Sponge, myself. You might also try a spermicide. None of these are 100%, but they are certainly a lot better than just trusting the pill when you've only been on it two days.
You might find you want to continue using one of these products even when you have been on the pill for a long time. This is not a bad idea. I was on the pill and using the sponge. Eventually, as part of a personal budget cut, I gave up the sponge, figuring the pill would be enough. I am now pregnant. This is rare, of course, in my case I was taking another pill that interfered with the effectiveness of the birth control pill and didn't know about it (dont take diet pills with birth control! Spread the word!), and the sponge was actually probably the only thing keeping me from getting pregnant.

You aren't covered by birth control pills within two days and you shouldn't be on it anyway because chances are pretty good you are already pregnant. Pulling out does not keep you from getting pregnant. I would love to chisel that over the doorway of every school in the nation. Pulling out does nothing to keep you safe. If you were on the pill for a month and he used sheepskin condoms (for those who can't use latex) I would say you're safe but you've already gone and done it. Get an EPT and find out.

1 not yet, the pill takes time to start working, if he's that concerned about not getting pregnant, they make condoms that aren't made out of latex, he should try those cause even the pull out method is dangerous. The pill is only 99% effective so there is always a chance. The only 100% way not to have a baby is not to have sex. As fun as it is, trust me I know, if you're not ready for a baby then don't have sex. Sorry to spoil your fun

I have had sex where the guy cums inside of me while I am on the pill back in July. because of it, now i am afraid i am pregnant. Supposedly the pill creates mucus around your cervix to block sperm from getting in. But it is only 98-99% effective. You have a good chance but there's always the 50/50 percentage of either YOU WILL get pregnant or YOU WONT.

I've been on the pill for 3 years and now I'm 7 months pregnant so be careful! Pills aren't 100% effective.

I wouldn't chance it this early on the pill. It can take up to 3 months to fully regulate, and it will say that in the packet. It also says to use a backup protection in the first week of each new pack on the pills. If you get sick and are on antibiotics you need to use a backup protection. Read through the instructions that came with the pills, it will answer a lot of questions.

Follow the instructions on your pills, and no matter what always use a back up method for the first 7 days after starting a new birth control method.

♥ Anytime that you have unprotected sex there is a chance of getting pregnant. Birth control pills are only about 98% accurate. The pull out method certaintly does not work either. If he is allergic to latex ask him to get another kind of condom... believe me they have them. Good Luck!
