Republicans believe in giving a hand up ..... Democrats believe in giving a handout.

That would indicate the Republicans have the working classes best interests in mind.

Working class citizens of the U.S. are worse off then they were 30 years ago. Money doesn't buy what it used to. Health care is in rough shape and getting worse. Education is not keeping up with the times. Jobs are going overseas quickly. The economy lost a lot of jobs recently. Education has become more expensive. Inflation is back in the picture. GDP is overstated but no one knows by how much. We just know that it is. It is only 2%. Working class don't have pensions anymore. The retirement age continues to move upwards. Credit is in and savings is out. It is very hard for most people to advance but a lot of people seem to think they have a chance and it's a lie. What matters is where you went to school and who is in your network. The republican agenda is built on exclusivity and who can afford stuff that no one needs. It's a fool's game at our expense. Read the paper and pay attention to the news and you will see. Look around you. Look at the facts. Don't assume without evidence.

as usual "fox news" conservatives can not see when they are getting a raw deal. they believe all the talking points and repeat. no substance no insight just play ol propaganda and name calling. they dont see that "neo-cons" Bush republicans are not true conservatives. open your eyes people
our jobs are leaving america
our wages cant keep up
health care is a crime
aide is only give to corpate intrest instead of the people
(insurance over katrina victims, bankers over home owners, tax brakes to take jobs overseas)
education prices are thrught the roof putting young middle class people behind the eight ball before they even get a shot at life
the war is being fought on credit shifting the burden on top our children and grand children.
the military is stretched thin and straining
middle class kids are the ones fighting returning wonded or worse not returning at all

mean while the biggest tax breaks are going to the richest people in the country while they have no personal sacrifice. how is it that they get the biggest piece of the pie. while the middle gets less for our sacrife.

cant you see uncle sam has working class people bent over and taking the big red white and blue.

They are working for the working class far far more than the dems. They are the ones promoting an environment that allows businesses to thrive that allow the jobs those working class americans work at.
Dems strangle businesses with taxes and regulations that does nothing but undermind the economy and destroy working class american jobs.

It is NOT the gvts job to make sure you have a job or a liveable wage. Take care of yourself. How anyone that was fortunate to be born into a country that offers more opportunity than any place on this planet whines and complains about their job prospectives is beyond me. It just shows how the dems have fostered an environment of entitlement that also underminds the working class americans.

Hilary Clinton already spoke of her vision of an economic plan for americans that increased taxes on EVERY SINGLE taxpayer, which includes those working class americans. Republicans have cut taxes for all americans.

I'm not a repub but you'd have been better off just saying Republicans sense most of them are working class.

I honestly can't think of a reason the repubilican party is not working for working class americans. I'm a working class american, and my only hope is that republicans don't make any additional stupid laws or increase the tax burden. If they lower it, that's a big plus.

Of course, they aren't in control of cogress or the senate, so it really don't matter. The dems control the agenda.

This is liberal brainwashing, and while certain Repulicans might be boozers or have an affair or two, the party is based upon sane laws and the interests of all Americans, as opposed to the Democrat party who represents everything sick and rotten, and that which will destroy us.

Now here we have the class warfare mentality, and the belief that the Democrat party will help the little guy. However, most Democrats are fat porkers like Al Gore and his wife, Kennedy, and Hillary, who also has a big butt.

They pissed on Social Security reform. They failed to make the tax cuts for the working middle class permanent. Most tax cuts are only for people with kids. If you were foolish enough not to have kids, you pay more taxes so you can support the schools that you don't have kids in.

No, I can't give you any reasons and I do think it works for the working class if the working class really wants to work.
