Political correctness over shadows common sense and performance is altered. Money connections world power is beyond what us normal people can comprehend. We are spoon fed information. If only people did their homework as diligently as if their lives depended on it about politicians and took the time out to vote in their busy lives. If concerns about entertainment and superficial issues consume us like fast food were are deserving of what we get.
Each party is guilty of presenting false truths. But never more clear is the arguement that this Democratic Senate has fallen short of any and all promises and "bench marks" they set. 100 days of zero progress. Senators with two jobs and conflicts of interest during a Presidential campaign?
They do it because they can. It is a long accepted process that American's are not eager to fight over and force change.
Collateral damage like our brave troops stalled by a political system that fails US all is not acceptable. Wake UP America! Get involved, write , vote, help others vote, volunteer... do ANYTHING but sit and complain. Thank you.

ll politicians fear losing elections, Democrats are no different.
No American wants to "abadon", or abandon our troops.
No Democrats voted for the war.
There was no vote to go to war.
Any who say there was is a fool, or worse.
The decision to go to war lies with President Bush and his so called experts like Perle, and Crystal..
Sure go ahead and vote third party, that is your right as an American.

I do not think their fearful of the election process.I feel that democrats really want a candidate that can win in Nov 08 .They need to get back in to undo the damage that a George Bush after 8 years.Neither of these candidates Hillary or Obama can deliver that.We live in a racist and gender bashing society. That is the bottom line.

http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=107&session=2&vote=00237#top
If you look at the numbers, you will see that 126 Democrats in the House and 21 Democrats in the Senate voted against the lie-based Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution of 2002:
http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2002/roll455.xml
Only SIX REPUBLICANS in the House and ONE Republican in the Senate voted against the LIE-BASED QUAGMIRE.
Of the 255 Democrats in Congress at that time, a majority, 153, voted AGAINST the resolution.
Only 102 Democrats in Congress voted for it.
So, the notion that Democrats SHARE RESPONSIBILITY because a MINORITY OF DEMOCRATS BELIEVED THE LIES ABOUT WMD, is patently RIDICULOUS.

The only way that Dems can end the war without the help of Republicans is by cutting off funding. That would literally be leaving our troops at the mercy of the enemy.

Dems voted for the war for the exact same reason they are against it now: merely going with the flow to gain votes themselves!

Please stop watching Fox News! I watched N.B.C. News this morning and they were talking about a very slow withdrawal of troops that would take at least a year to get our young people out of Iraq. Many, many more of our youth will still die there, so don't worry!
