I don't know if he has blocked me, but I've been blocked by numerous Ron Paul supporters because they can't stand to hear the truth about him. I look at it like this. If people are so thin skinned that they can't take opposing views then I lose interest in them and their questions anyway. Some folks in here post questions because they just wish to have their own views validated and applauded. When they come across someone who disagrees with them, especially if that person makes good points with facts attached to them, they block them so they don't have to be irritated or upset that someone disagrees with them or has proven them wrong. To me, it's hard to care about being blocked by a person like that.

I have everyone blocked.
But before that, it was just a few people I couldn't stand - I don't care what their ideology was. If they couldn't hold their own in a debate...liberal or conservative, they were blocked.
Editing to say that there is one particular user who posted here, sneering about being blocked, who reports me EVERY SINGLE TIME I answer one of this person's rants. Sometimes, I admit, I deserve it, but even if I answer the question politely, I get reported. What makes *that* okay? Blocking is a more open "piss off" than constantly giving someone the thumbs-down or reporting them.

That is not what blocking does...
You can still see what a blocked person has to say - and you can still answer their questions and they can answer yours...
They are just prevented from sabotaging every one of your answers by going down your lists and thumbing you down.
Blocking is effective for everyone to not get sabotaged.
I usually block a person after I've seen a totally offensive answer from them... because I know that's the type that just wants to cause trouble.
I won't block a level-headed conservative just because I disagree though... that would make the site boring.

Yes. He has me blocked also. It's OK as it is his right.
Have just been blocked by Ernest T 2.0. I keep a list in my profile. I am proud to put him on the list.

He has blocked me too. I don't think much about it one way or the other. He is certainly free to get opinions from or not, anyone he chooses. Interestingly he may block you and me but gets what we would tell him from others. If he blocks them all he will get is only what he wants to hear. That is cowardly but his choice.

It doesn't bother me, but it never ceases to amaze me how some who say they believe in the freedoms this country so deeply cherish try to censor those with which they disagree.

i have been blocked by others just cause i had an opposing view (answer). Thats low and shows that they are cowards. Obviously they dont know how to have discussions with other poeple because they dont want to hear others' points of view. Sad, really.

Maybe he just got tired of your typical rants against Bush.
Some of the rants just get old after a while.
I haven't use the block yet but some come real close at times.
