Hi, Think u for taking the courage n seeking answer to your new n wonderful cooking experience. I've been a chef for many years n never added water to a meatloaf dish. There r recipes that require water or a liquid added to a meatloaf dish but that's 4 another day; As 4 your stove misg. the temp.# think of dial as a clock n after igniting flame turn back dial to up n down position=medium-high=approx 400@{degrees}. Do not cook your food on that high a temp,p. for a recipe of aprox 1-2 lbs. of ground beef or turkey after mixing ingredients cook on temp. 300-350 for in flat mold an in. high 30 min's, n a loaf pan =30-45min's.; for more recipes please do not hesitate to email me. Good cooking n remember to just have funnnnnn...
ps. if u know your stove name or make n modle #, go online n get a pic of it n look @ dial for the stove to get a feel for the spacing of the temp degrees also u mabe able to request the maker to send u a dial.

since you don't have a knob may I suggest you put the pan with the meatloaf in another pan with water so the bottom doesn't burn. Cook covered and fill the pan with the water as needed.

No, the meat has enough water & fat content, it will be fine. Add a can of tomatoes with green chilies for a spicy touch! Yum!

Yes, you unhook your water cooler for your computer and put it in the meatloaf then put it back in.

No, it will probably short out your power supply. If a stove, use some olive oil, low fire.
