I found this for $80.00 and want to know if it is a good deal. My 8 year old son would really like this so I am thinking about getting it for him for Christmas gift. Here is how the ad reads:

I did not say I was going to give him all the games. I ALWAYS monitor was he watches and does. I have a couple older sons who can tell me what games to let him play. I just want to know if the ps2 and all the games are a good deal.
I think the ones I don't want I can resell.

It's a good deal for the most part. You will still need to get the memory card though...but it is a good deal for all the games. If your son is small conflict global terror and San Andres are out of the question to play.enter the matrix could be okay more fighting than shooting no blood though. the age is what comes into question. I WOULD TAKE THE DEAL.

That is a great deal! Take High & Dry's advice, and have the owner hook it up and let you check each game to make sure the console and games are working properly. I'd check to see if he also has a memory card, because your son will need that. If not, maybe you can sell or trade-in the mature (M) rated games to purchase a memory card, and possibly some more games that are appropriate for him. It sounds like a great deal, and your son will be SO happy!

well it sounds ok but it didnt say anything about a memory card or if it was a big ps2 or slim model but you should just ask the person selling which version does it play all formats such as ps2 ps1 dvds and if it comes with memory card cause without the card you cant save the games and proably have to spend 10 to 20 bucks extra to get them

if someones buying it from you at that cost its the final deal!!! (it incredibly is properly worth an xbox 360) the actual(retail) cost for the ps2 is $one hundred thirty and persons sell it for like $30-$70 you're fortunate that a guy or woman is buying it for $3 hundred from you

You can always ask them to try the PS2 out at their house or something...I think that's a very good offer, especially with all those games. Just make sure everything works fine.

there could be somthin wrong with it or it could be he just dosnt have time for it my friend just bought a 360 and 5 games for 200 bucks form some dorm room kid who just didnt have time for it but if u are a lil uneasy go to game stop by refurbished and by the games form him at a cheap price or ask to try it out for a hour see how it works or it might just be hot anyway u cut it its a good deal,, I hope i help u out in some way ..take care

That's a lulzworthy offer. There must be something wrong with the ps2. And you would get gta san andreas for your 8 year old son? Shame on you...
Go to gamestop.com they sell refurbed ps2s for 80 bucks, but no game come with it you would have to roll out some dough for some games.
