My daytime running lights are not working, and the bulbs and other headlights are okay. I am told that 98% of the time the problem is caused by the relay. I cannot locate the relay in order to replace it. Help!

all of the factory relays are in the underhood relay box that is typically found on the passenger side rear of the engine compartment. It will have a black cover on the box that is about 3" x 6". If the box is not in the right rear it will be in the driver's front. The box has a list of the relays either inside the cover or etched into the top of the cover. Most relays in the underhood box are interchangable so you could, for example, take the horn relay out and switch it with the other relays to see if that fixes the problem. You can also do that switching if you can't determine which relay is for the running lights; simply change the horn relay with each of the others until the running lights either come on identifying the running light relay or don't come on which would indicate a separate problem other than the relay.

hope that helps
