It won't damage anything but will probably make playing the game less fun. Try the lower resolutions.

depends on how bad it is, it might slow down the computer (ie slower frame rate) and the graphics sure wouldnt look too pretty either. I'd suggest buying a new graphics card, for a decent one you can get it for $150.

You will wear the computer down, yes, it will drain the energy from the motherboard and possibly fry something. If your graphics card is going out and your a gamer, strong suggestion, buy a new one.

decide for an nVidia 8 or 9 sequence (e.g., 8800GTS, 8600, 9800GT, 9600GTX) They get greater powerful as numbers get greater to place it purely. ATI are lagging interior the GPU industry on the 2d, do no longer purchase one. the suitable business enterprise to get an nVidia GPU from could be EVGA as they have the suitable technical help and correctly outfitted enjoying cards. There are somewhat some rubbish pictures enjoying cards available. i could no longer fairly %. one and say this is the worst.

they're so cheap now... change it... you dont have to buy the most expensive, but remember the one that was amazing last year! is still amazing, and half the price!!! Geek Squad at best buy will change if out for you or ask a friend!

your computer will be much slower. fast processing depends on everything in the computer being fast, one bottleneck will slow things down.
