Does anybody know where yuo could buy a k6-450 new or second hand motherboard also would I need a new cpu, processor ram, etc.... with it or if I already have components which did work eith the AMD K5-450 Motherboard before when the notherboard did wrok would it still work with the new one if I get the same brand motherboard (AMD K6-450). Would I need software for the new motherboard. Your help would be much appreciated. Thank You.

The K6-450 is a processor that is no longer made, the same goes for motherboards that fit the K6-450.
Ebay is probably your best source for these parts.

Try Ebay and the moterboard should come with drivers on CD. It would be safer to buy the motherboard with the processor etc. I recently dumped two working systems with K6 boards such is life!

ebay, local computer store, best buy or newegg is what I would recommend.
And yes, you will need to buy a new processor, but that's all you would need to buy.
