Personally I prefer the hard ones
Crispy on the outside,
soft in the center.

I would go with soft... Some things in life are just better soft.
Dinner rolls would fit into that catagory.

Soft, served with lots of real butter..not that imitation junk from the grocer. Go find a farmer who still makes his own and buy a bit from him. You will be glad that you did.
