I was told about this website that you could go on and it would give you the guidelines of a book's plot etc if you're a writer and you can send it in to them and they would publish it and also you would get a certain amount of money if you were unknown..I know the details are vague but does anyone have any idea of what website this is?

I don't know what site that is, but it almost sounds like a scam. Be careful.

I wouldn't even pursue it. It sounds fake for sure. Nothing in life is free, hon. Nobody is just publishing your book for free because you send it to them and then send you money in return. That is what you call a scam.

My best advice is for you to spend the 30 dollars and buy yourself the newest edition of Writers Market and start reading about how to publish traditionally.

Also I star many great Q and A regarding writing and publishing here. You can find them on my profile. Print out a bunch and read them. There is a lot of good information here to help you. Pax- C

I wouldn't bite. If you can't remember the website and I have never heard of it--bet your last chocolate doughnut that this is a scam.
