My husband and I have been trying to have a child for two months now and nothing seems to be working. I have heard that if you go on birth control and then get off that your chances of getting pregnant are higher and I have also tried the tempature testing but both of them didn't work?

any ideas?

Make sure when he finishes he is on top or you are dogie style those are the best positions. also, when you guys are done prop a pillow under your butt to raise your hips up in the air and lay there for about 15-30 min. Sometimes I just fall asleep like that LOL.
I also got the ovulation prediction kit this past month and sure enough when I thought I was ovulating I really wasn't, so I pinpointed it this month. I would suggestion getting a kit for next month.

holy shiznit. Two months is not long enough to even be considered trying and not working. You've only been fertile maybe 48 hours in that two month span.

It can take a healthy couple a year to get pregnant, thats the average.

Have sex, thats how you make babies.

If youre already starting to freak out and MAKE yourself pregnant you are in for a long haul. It doesnt work taht way and the stress will keep you from getting pregnant. Stop trying and just have sex, babies happen that way on their own.

My husband and I tried for months and then we decided to wait . The next month I was pregnant. The key is don't think about when your together just have fun and relax . It will happen. Good luck and May God Bless

I agree with Ginger G, it happens when you simply stop trying and simply love each other, it's as if your body knows your trying to conceive and thinking about babies. Also try to have sex every coupla days around ovulation time which is mid cycle to allow for your mans sperm to build up again. Stress will not help, so trust me when i say relax!! It will happen xx

Sometimes it can take up to a year for a normal healthy couple to conceive! Just be patient!

First thing I would have to say...relax and let nature take its course. Don't "think about getting pregnant" just have intercourse, enjoy it, relax and IF you conceive the WHOO HOO!
RELAX is the key.

Two months is really not that long. Are you temping, checking your cervical mucous? Taking prenatal vitamins?

Lots of unprotected sex. That's the only thing that I'm pretty sure will work.

have you ever thought of not having a kid and just have a fun marriage? we don't HAVE to have kids you know. you could always spend your marriage spoiling your husband. And you can adopt.
