Well that depends on the test. Most IQ tests are just for fun and don't really reveal anything. I took an IQ test and scored a 135 and it said I was an enlightend Genius, but that doesn't really mean too much. All IQ tests are different and isn't always accurate

While remembering that the score on an 'IQ' test means nothing but a score on an 'IQ' test..especially a test as narrow as the Stanford-Binet, that 114 score means that you are above average in intelligence.

I got 114 score and bragged about it to my wife. She took the same test and scored 134. I think 114 is about average inteligence which is pretty good, well at least we ain't braindead.

Back in high school I took several I.Q. tests and scored between 185 to 190 on all of them. Teachers and school board officials made a very big deal of this, everyone wanted to know why I got such poor grades. Raw intelligence is only a small part of the equation to success and happiness in life.

It means you are moderately above average. Average is 100.
But IQ doesn't mean what people seem to think. It's not a measure of how much you know, only of what your capacity is, and it's up to you to fill that capacity up. It's not a predictor of how well you'll do in life, how happy or successful you'll be.
