split them. all there is too it.

are they males? im assuming so because females hardly fight.

if they are males then its unlikly that without neutering they will settle down,

so its either get them neutered. or split them

Get a new cage (an inside one I'd say-they cost about £30-£40 from good shops) and put it directly next to the big cage. Then the two guineas can smell eachother but can't physically attack. Change each guinea pig between cages so they can assosiate different smells and have some time apart.

If one is older, other slightly younger, the younger one may be intimidated. Let it have some time apart, but make sure its in earshot of the other one so it doesn't grow lonely. The younger one will grow in confidence with age, and in a week or two, re-introduce them for a little while and see what happens. Sometimes the seperating idea can take up to a month or so to work. It varies with guineas.

Anyway, this worked for me, so good luck! Go and see a vet if this doesn't work.

If they are two males, they're fighting because that's what male guinea pigs do. Even castrating will probably not solve anything at this point, since the fighting has likely become a learned behavior. They only solution is to separate them.

If at least one is a female, they are likely fighting over food, water, and space. Make sure you're giving them plenty of all these things at all times.

This happened to me with my two female guinea pigs.Completly clean the cage and everything in it even the food bowl.Bath both guinea pigs (you'll get peoper shampoo from pet shop). This will take any scent away from cage and eachother so they won't have their own teritories. Also they should have something in the cage to hind in like a tunnel or something you can get from pet shop.Give them each one.If they already have ones i'd advise you to nuy new ones as this is what i had to do.If this doesn't work you may have to get them neutered btu try this first as it will cost less. Also when you see them fighting clap your hands or something. Guinea pigs don't like loud noises and if everytime they fight they hear one it may put them off.Good Luck!!

well... i woudl suggest taking them apart. get another shelter for one of them and place them in seperate shelters. Let them live alone. they will be able to see each other. but not fight. they will be just as happy not sharing shelter at they are together.

Provide them with boxing gloves a small ring and start charging to watch them battle it out.
